Gmail in the Classroom

I use Gmail to communicate with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members.  With students, we communicate about class assignments and any club or activity events or meetings.  Communicating information to parents about events at school or how their student is doing by Gmail is efficient and effective.  Using Gmail can be helpful when communicating with the teacher I am subbing for or to other teachers for assistance.  The convenience of Gmail is also key in situations where you may need to contact the front office or a custodian.
