Gmail in the Classroom

Carrie
Gmail is a great tool to use in the classroom.  It is very useful to use between parents and teachers.  You can use the label folder to keep parent conversations separate from other inbox conversations.  I really love the labels in Gmail to keep my inbox tidy. The group option is a great feature to use when contacting parents regarding a certain project or activity that is due.  You could also use the group feature with the students to communicate assignments.  Also, the students could use the tasks tab to write down what is due for that day or the next.
