Gmail in the classroom/substitute/classroom volunteer

I find Gmail a very easy and efficient way to communicate with the teacher in whose room I have subbed for the day.  A couple of long-term sub jobs I have had Gmail was very easy for the teacher to send me attachments or links that would be helpful for the lesson plans.

I was also part of a classroom volunteer group.  Gmail labels were helpful for me to keep my group emails organized.
