Gmail in the classroom

Collin Swanson
The school district I work in converted to gmail recently; all students and staff have gmail accounts. I use gmail to communicate with students about missing assignments, homework, and other class announcements.

I communicate with co-workers about student concerns, inquire about classroom assignments, and send reminders for meetings.

I also use it to set up "undisclosed recipient" emails so that I can send information to parents without them seeing each other's email addresses.

I like your use of 'undisclosed recipient'. I will use that when the need arises to send emails to groups of people.

I like the use of the undisclosed recipient.  I think I will use it in the future as another way to create announcements for my parents besides the Remind site I also use.
