With our school becoming a google school it has made it convenient for kids to be able to both communicate and turn in assignments through google. I am just starting to use google classroom as well so you are given confirmations through email when students turn things in or make comments in the classroom. I also have a mass email to all of my 7th graders so I can send reminders or make announcements for all to see.
