Gmail in the classroom

As an elementary school teacher I see gmail functioning as a communication tool for myself and parents, administrators, team members and other professional contacts, more than with young students. Using gmail is a great way to share important classroom information, classroom news or valuable links with parents.  I use the Blind copy function when communicating with parents as a way to loop administrators in to pertinent conversations. Additionally the labels feature will make it easy to identify and find important emails that will save me valuable time.
