Next year I will be a Teacher Librarian in five elementary buildings. I am planning on doing a Battle of the Books with all the fifth grade classes. To make it easy to communicate with 400+ students I could create a group email list with all fifth graders from my schools. Then I can send out one email to all the fifth graders that I work with.
