Gmail in the classroom

Susan Body
After teaching elementary grades for 33 years, I'm now substituting in the same school. Technology is constantly changing. When I retired two years ago, all student had access to iPads. Now grades 2-6 have Chromebooks, and most have Gmail access. Learning more about the features of Gmail will help me be able to answer questions and troubleshoot when I sub. I'm heading into a long term sub job as school starts, so being able to create groups of teachers in my department (ELL) or are homeroom teachers for students I see will be helpful as well. The students I'm subbing long term for will be able to email me with questions if needed. I also like that I can label/sort emails as needed to help keep organized.
