I'm not currently working at a school district right now but I know my daughter's class (3rd grade) uses gmail and all of the students have a school gmail account. During this pandemic, they've been staying connected by doing google hangouts and have been emailed the invitations for scheduled hangouts. This will be a great option for when I get back into the classroom.
I also love the use of adding labels and filters to my gmail. It will make searching so much easier!
