Gmail in the classroom

Melissa Harmeyer
I use gmail by creating contact lists for my different classes. Taking the time to do this allows me to e-mail my students all at once about subjects that pertain to their specific course. Additionally, each class has it's own folder and then assignments receive specific labels. This way when a student submits a reflection from my Govt. class, I can file it accordingly and easily tell based off the label which assignment they are submitting. This helps me save time on grading by making it so I don't have to re-read through each assignment and try to figure out what it is.
