We use google drive with our students, but the email feature is disabled, so I will have to limit my use to my parents and other teachers. I use the signature, labels to keep things organized, the google calendar to show my upcoming events. I communicate with parents all the time through gmail, including sending messages directly from google docs. I also have different teacher groups set up so I can send emails quickly to the appropriate teachers. My classes also have their own groups, so I can easily send emails to specific parents from my different classes and no one is missed.
