Although I am not currently in a classroom situation, I have utilized many Gmail features for contact with home school families and students involved with activities, clubs and enrichment classes. The ability to form contact groups, label emails, and share a calendar was helpful for keeping in touch with those involved in each club or class. I see now how the use of the circles, chat and tasks would have also been helpful.
