Gmail is a great tool

At my school we are still using Outlook and the MS Office tools. There is a push to move to the Google app in school. Many of us use the Google Drive and Gmail in the classroom. The seamlessness of these toll add time to a teachers busy day. Gmail is easy for any teacher to learn and use. The support and tutorials for all Google apps are very well done.

I could not agree with you more Kevin!!! At the middle school I am at, we are also using Outlook and MS Office tools. I think I may be operating with MS Office tools 2010 too!  It's a real drag to access my  Outlook email @ school when I am home too. Half the time, the application doesn't work and I waste allot of time @ home opening up various Outlook websites to get my school email to open. Gmail would be soooooooo much better. Plus, I am finding that the Google tutorials are all turn-key and easy to use. Anytime I have a question on MS Office, the instructions are buried in layers of detail. Plus, our Tech Dept. points us in the MS Office Support Dept. direction.  You are lucky....sounds like your school is contemplating using Gmail and other Google apps. Not so lucky where I am at!  Good luck and pray for me!!
