I like a few key features of Gmail.
First, I am a high school golf coach. I just arranged our post-season banquet. I had emails going, "reply alls", and a long string of texts. If I could get all my families on gmail, a Google hangout would be awesome for us.
I also teach in a very diverse school. The Gmail translate feature under labs would be amazing for me to help communicate with families. How many languages are available?
I liked what Mrs. Sloan mentioned also. Setting up places for students to talk and have a voice outside of the classroom could be very beneficial to kids.
