Gmail

Gmail is a good way to communicate with parents.  I also use it to set up meetings with parents.  Some parents have requested daily reports on the behavior of their students and Gmail is a good way to contact parents daily.  Gmail makes teacher/parent  contacts so much more convenient.  Late assignments can also be sent through Gmail. Students will be able to get answers related to assignments through Chat much more quickly.  Our school has Spanish speaking students enrolling in our district and the translation feature is going to be very important when communicating with the parents of these students.  Communication between parents and teachers is always important and Gmail plays a big roll in making this possible.
