I think it is very important to have open communication in a classroom. Not only between students and teachers, but parents and teachers, as well as from teacher to teacher. Communication in any setting is the difference between success and failure. I really like the chat feature, because it allows students to check in and see what they missed, or have questions on any assignment or project they are working on. I also like the idea of creating groups, for either different sections of students, or parents that need information updates.
