I'm currently using MS Outlook for school communications and find it uncooperative when off-campus. The Gmail seems totally user friendly and supported by accessible resources. I am aware that some groups are using Google Apps in my school system but it is not universal. I will be visiting with my school tech on how to make the change at my school.
