I find the ability to apply labels for whole conversations or types of emails in an inbox very helpful. For example, I could set up labels such as parent, teacher, administrator, student or even a label identifying attachments or google documents. It would be very handy for filtering the types of sender or type of information in emails. I will also use the archive feature. It would allow me to immediately remove a random, unimportant email from the inbox into the archive after I have read it. This is handy since it is easier to deal with organizing emails at the time of the email quickly, rather than deal with it later.
