I was worried I was doing something wrong, but a little research shows Google + is no longer going to be supported. It isn't surprising as it doesn't really offer anything Facebook doesn't offer with the exception of quicker connection to the rest of the Google Suite. Embedding a link in Facebook is easy, though, so it's still easy to share documents that may be in your Drive.
