Google 101: Gmail

khansen
In my role as a School Psychologist supporting multiple buildings, Gmail is often the best way for me to be in contact with teachers and vice versa. It helps me to share information and resources with teachers when I am not able to be in a building. A few things that I have learned that will support efficiency and productivity will be using the "Canned Responses" and being able to use Google products side by side. Regarding "Canned Responses", I often have requests from teachers for guidance to find resources such as progress monitoring measures, assessments and normative information. By keeping a copy of this information in "Canned Responses, I will no longer have to go in to find the links, saving time and decreasing the time to respond. Additionally, I often need to create Google Calendar invites based on emails I receive, therefore it will be more time efficient for me to create a calendar invite while still within Gmail instead of having to open a new tab to access my Google Calendar.
