Google Documents in a elementary classroom

When considering Google Documents for my future elementary classroom I picture myself using it to create lesson plans, track instructional and behavioral interventions.  Depending on the grade I would be teaching I could have students use Google Docs. themselves to brainstorm ideas then write a story from their brainstorming ideas.
