Google Drive

Anna Crenshaw
Google Drive is a huge resource for my team.  We are specialized for deaf and hard of hearing, so there aren't that many apps and sites related to the needs of our specific students. We have used Google Drive to create a team drive for my team of teachers to share resources that we have found.  We have also used Google Drive to create one drive for teachers across the state. If we are looking for resources in a specific area, we can just look in the statewide drive to see if there is anything there which relates to our search or student needs.

My district uses Google Drive for all of our staff needs also. Each year our prinicpal shares a specific folder with the staff. Then all of our PD notes, meeting notes, forms, etc go into this folder so it is easy to find when needed.

I never realized how slick this was until this year. Nothing is miss placed, information can be sent out early to staff, staff can create their own copies.

Google Drive is a great resource to help students and teachers stay organized.  It allows you to share material that can be easily accessible to all who need it.

I like the idea that it is easy to share plus has the option that students can edit their work.  If a group has to work together is includes all that are shared with options so all can be included in the project as well as the teachers.
