Google Email in the classroom

David Christopherson
Using google email in the classroom is a must for me for my classes. While Google Docs is good for working on projects together, Google email allows me to get Microsoft files from the students so I can see the formatting of the projects. Using the Google email has allowed me to separate assignments from each other so I can have everybody’s project in the same file to see if they have turned it in.
I enjoy using the labels. The only thing I don’t like about the labels is that it leaves it in the inbox unless you go to each email to eliminate the inbox label.
I haven’t had the students use the calendar but since they weren’t issued planners this year, this would be a good option for them. I could also get to use the labeling option to separate their teachers’ emails
