Luckily our school district went to gmail at Christmas. I use it daily to keep informed and respond to information needed daily as a teacher. At the end of the year I was asked to teach google basics using new Chrome books for 6th graders. I am interested in using chat in gmail with my classes. I think I could also increase my use of gmail to inform students and their family about make-up work for long term absences. We currently ask parents/guardians to come to the school and pick up their child's paperwork from each teacher.
In addition I plan to begin using labels with my school gmail account to separate my emails to make them easier to find later on.
