I have had a gmail account for a long time, but have not used it because I used my school email for colleagues and a yahoo account for friends and family. Obviously, I did not know about the possibility of linking the accounts. That was nice to find out about! The class of 4th graders I taught last year had gmail accounts and emailed their writing assignments to me. Understanding how to organize with labels and filters will make that process much easier to work with and keep straight. I'm glad I am taking the time to learn more about this! Color coding is something I use all the time but had not put to use in email organizing until now. That will definitely be helpful as well.
