As a former coach, we used Twitter as a communication platform. During this time, several student-athletes would often post, retweet inappropriate messages, videos, etc... It was a common part of our monitoring that students were held to high standards with what was appropriate and what wasn't. Conversations were had in regards to recruiting and future employers and how their digital footprint is out there for all to see.
