Inappropriate Use Digital Media

With technology at the tip of students finger tips and the one-to-one initiative so widespread, there are many students that request to friend me on Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram.  My response to them is always not until you graduate.  There are just too many ways for things on media to be misunderstood.

It is important as an educator not to be "friends" of students on Facebook, or other out-of-school social media. There are so many other ways to communicate with them within an appropriate medium, such as Google Classroom.
