From my work email, someone sent out a multitude of inappropriate emails to people who were my contacts. It was extremely embarrassing and very frustrating to have my name smeared in that way. Luckily, people are understanding. From time to time I receive similar emails from others that I knew was not from them. By having it previously happened to me, it made it easy to understand that the emails were false and the person I knew was innocent.
