Inappropriate Use Digital Media

Rourke Mullen
I, or my family, have not been "a victim" yet, but there have been plenty of stories in the news of people that have.  Usually the stories we hear about have a bad ending.  The ability to be anonymous on social media, or the ability to make up "fake" accounts make it to easy and convenient to bully people.  Students, and adults - all users of the internet - need to have the understanding of responsible comments and usage.  If you can't say something to someone in person, then don't say it behind the curtain of the internet.

I agree.  I think that because digital media allows you to communicate without begin face-to-face, may people have more courage and say things they would never say in a face-to-face conversation.  This often has negative consequences.  If you would not say it to someone in person, you should not post it.
