Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

We have had several instances where students are using the internet to search inappropriate information. Our protocol is to inform parents and police if necessary. We also suspend their rights to use their computer. We are an elementary building, so we are able to do so without too much trouble. We continuously need to remember to teach our students about rights and responsibility and set clear parameters with our technology.
