I find it completely inappropriate for my employees to post pictures on Facebook, Twitter, etc. of them in situations that do not represent our school in a positive manner. They may be a bar with friends, party, or social event and have alcohol in the photo. What people do in their personal time is their business, I just wish they would not post it for the world to see.
I also find it inappropriate for employees to contact their employer through Facebook, texting, etc. to notify them of an absence. This just gives people any easy way out to not have to have a phone conversation or face to face conversation. I find it more with younger employees.
