Inappropriate Use of digital media

In years past, I had been rather lax about sharing music digitally. My students know I have an extensive digital music library so I was regularly getting requests to "burn" a playlist for the the basketball team warm up music or other situation. Previously I would eagerly do this to help out the team members of coach. I have since stopped this practice. I will help students locate music that can be purchased or otherwise legally obtained to use for their practices. I have also helped lead an effort to purchase ASCAP/BMI licensing by our district so that we won't have "broadcasting" issues.
