There was a situation in an office that I worked in where some coworkers were talking badly about a manager via email. They later realized that this manager was included on the email thread and had to go into damage control. Even though I did not participate in the conversation, my email address was also included in this thread making for a very uncomfortable situation. It definitely taught me a lesson about keeping things professional when it comes to work email.
