Inappropriate Use

Keith Wagner
Many students react too quickly and post something on Facebook or Twitter they wish they had not without thinking. It can be very hurtful to others and may have negative outcomes for them as well. As I mentioned earlier I think Twitter and Facebook can be a positive tool if it is used to communicate and gather information.

I agree that these tools can be used for good but can go south quickly if used inappropriately.  This is why it is so important for us to be good role-models on how we use the tools and teach students good ways to use them in our day to day lives.

I agree.  I think it is important that we teach kids how to use them in school and what appropriate use would be in general.  This way, they are aware of these rules when using digital media/tools in their personal lives as well.
