I find myself frequently speaking with my son and my students about their overuse of texting as a means to communicate. At 19 my son is finally starting to understand. It is so easy to misinterpret what someone is meaning in the text. Using texting to cause trouble or to make an uncomfortable conversation is not right. They think why not. They loose those conversation skills. The nuances of individual contact that is not there with texting.
Then there is the obvious inappropriate picture sent. My line is what is your purpose? If your purpose is not to help or be kind, you should not do it!
