Instagram for Social Media Course

Christine Curry
As a substitute teacher, I do not use Instagram in the classroom.  I do use it for a non-profit organization that I established, The Grenada Goat Dairy Project aka The Goat Dairy.  We have been following associated individuals and groups relating to such topics as Grenada, sustainable agriculture, education school gardens, and food nutrition.  We used this, in addition to Facebook and Twitter to help in a successful Kickstarter campaign for an educational goat dairy school project.

I am also a substitute, but I also work for a non-profit in education. You can check out nutrients4life on Instagram to see what the foundation does. I also follow Iowaagliteracyfoundation to find some great resources on agriculture to use in the classrooms. Even as a sub I use many of these tools.

I also substitute, so I will not be using this in the classroom. I am a youth director at our church and I feel like I possibly could use this for our older youth group. I'm trying to meet them where they are at! Any tips/tricks/advice would be appreciated. I'm still not sure.... Thanks

Im a para educator and haven't tried this with my students yet. Im going to do more looking to see if I can find subjects that might work. I am a member or two bands and Im thinking this might be great for me to use for advertising and communicating with other bands.
