I have a son in middle school who wants to have all of the social media platforms. The only one I have allowed him to have is Snapchat. He has his location disabled at all times so no one can see where he is. I like that Snapchat has this safety feature because the location is very accurate when on and I don't feel anyone needs his location besides his parent. I also like that he can post private stories.
