I did a check of my privacy settings on my Facebook profile. I went through a "privacy checkup", which took me through 3 different steps to check who was seeing things on my profile. Most were marked the way that I had thought they were, but a couple things were marked "public". I changed those to "friends only" because that is how my data is shared. When my own children are old enough to have their own social media accounts, we will have many discussions about proper sharing, and how things that are posted, could remain their forever.
