Love the game atmosphere - but that I can also assign it as homework.

I think this would be a hit with the students, they love games on the computer.

After reading the posts and actually getting on the Kahoot site I see it as a great source in my role as a substitute.   Primarily for those moments where I have to improvise after the day's plan gets altered.

I am not a teacher so I did not know what Kahoot was, but I have heard of some of our staff and students talking about it.  The students love this resource and seem to engage in class when teachers use it. As a competitor, anytime you can make something a game or competition, attitudes increase and motivation rises.

I agree that Kahoot is a great resource especially as a sub.  I can ask students to make a Kahoot to show what they learned that day.

Kahoot is a great resource! It is an easy thing for a sub to pull up.  It is also great for those early out days before holidays where classes are very short.  It keeps the students’ attention and actually lets them learn on those short days!

I would have to agree with your game/competition comment.  Motivation does increase and I feel like Kahoot would be a great resource for students to engage in.

The students at our school love Kahoot.  They really appreciate using kahoots as a preparation tool for tests.
