Norms and Resp.

Mark Nuss
In reading various posts on this topic, I have noticed "The Golden Rule" mentioned and often times "common sense."  As students begin using computers and social media at younger ages it is critical that they learn how much damage they can cause without realizing it.  Think of young kids and how hurtful they can be sometimes to one another face-to-face.  That might not get spread all over like something said online.  Also as kids grow they may have fewer face-to-face issues, but hiding behind the computer allows hurtful things to be said and done and once it is posted it is out there.  So, yes the Golden Rule and common sense are very important, but understanding law becomes even more important as kids grow in years.
