What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world? I fully agree with Lacy Jerome when she said that at the bare minimum the norms should include free speech, privacy, and right to be respected. We have these rights in the "real world" and these rights should definitely carry over to our online or digital world. Many times students feel invincible when they are online and it is our job as educators to instill in them all that is digital citizenship.
What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world? The user should have the responsibility of treating the digital world as if it were in person and face to face. Helping instill this in children will hopefully help them to think more before they post and therefore we can avoid more cyberbullying situations online.
