Norms and Responsibilities

I believe everyone should have the right to use the internet.  We need to remember that once we are on the internet, we can be tracked.  So with this in mind, we must use our right to this fabulous communication tool with respect and dignity.  What we write must be honest, yet kind.  

Our responsibility while using the internet is to be vigilant about going to sites that will be to our overall benefit.  We need to realize that not all sites are truthful in their design.  They want to urge us to see it their way.  We need to be aware of this and take responsibility for our choices-actions on the internet.

I think that all students need to be made aware of the lasting impact  that failing to be secure in our usage can have.  Also more about the laws that affect digital citizenship.
