Digital privacy should be a norm when dealing with things such as online banking or purchases made online. There has been much media coverage of people hacking into online accounts and emptying bank accounts or stealing identities, even people such as Oprah Winfrey has had her identity stolen. I also feel that when you are working as an employee on a work-owned computer that one needs to treat this as a public forum and know that at any time an employer has the right to view what is being typed. It is your responsibility as an employee to be able to manage to separate these 2 areas.
