Norms and Responsibilities

There are certain responsibilities that should go in tandem with freedoms in our society.  We have the freedom to elect our governing bodies therefore we should have the responsibility to be aware and educated citizenship and get to the polling places to vote.  We have the freedom to drink at 21 therefore for the safety of the society, we should be responsible with our actions and not drive intoxicated.  The freedom on the internet needs to be tempered with the responsibilty to conduct yourself responsibly - control your mouth, control your thoughts, be polite, be courteous, keep others safe online especially those that are vulnerable such as our youth.  Having access to something doesn't give you the right to be irresponsible.  With great freedom, come great responsibility.
