Norms and Responsibilities

Dwight Beyer
In the use of digital technology, let integrity to the highest degree be the norm.  At all times it's use must not place the user at risk nor any other user as well.  Even though there may not be a set of written rules, let common sense be the guide.  I really like the comment by another person that says follow the golden rule--it's hard to go wrong.

It takes a lifetime to build a solid reputation, however, it can be reduced to ashes in a single moment.  It is the responsibility of the user of digital technology to make sure at all costs that not a single person's reputation is tarnished to the smallest degree, including their own.  Failure to do so could have such far reaching effects that include hindering college selection, limiting job availability, affecting social status, etc for the injured person.
