Norms and Responsibilities

A citizen showing his or her understanding of their rights in today's digital society needs to understand there are  responsibilities associated with possessing those rights.  Simple possession does not allow one to indiscriminately post whatever information one desires. There are ethical and moral questions to be posed and addressed. As that filter is applied one is required to consider the ramifications of their personal actions.  What potential impact will this have on someone else? What impact will this have on them personally?  If one takes the time to answer these and other questions one begins to understand the responsibilities associated in participating in the digital society.
