Norms and Responsibilities

Mindy Skillen
I agree that students lead by example.  If students poor language, pictures, etc. being posted on the internet, they will think that is the norm and accepted.  We as adults need to teach the norms and responsibilities continuously as there is always a new user.  Students are at a very vulnerable age and don't have the mature minds to know between right and wrong, or can't see beyond the present or think what consequences might be..

I agree that students need to be careful of what they are writing especially in a social media format because these things don't go away and they may later be judged by what and how they have written their posts.

I agree.  Students can be very impulsive and not see how their actions can deeply hurt someone else.  The youth today is not as caring as their parents were.  They cant put themselves into other people shoes.
