I think every student should have the right to access digital communication, however, they need to be responsible for their actions. This right can be taken away and there may be consequences if it is abused. Students should be educated on what digital citizenship is and how it can benefit them but they should also learn how it can spiral out of control. As educators and parents, we need to monitor what students are doing on devices and educate them to make appropriate choices.
