It's a whole new world. The technology changes every day. Kids are up to date. Parents and teachers maybe not so much. As an educator, I try to find new ways to incorporate technology into my classroom. This means putting the devices into the hands that need them. As a parent, I try to regulate the use of devices. Teaching kids what is and is not appropriate are crucial in maintaining a system that everyone can find suitable. I read in one post something about the Golden Rule. Maybe it is just this simple. Treat others how you want to be treated.
