I loved this section not only as a teacher but as a parent. I feel the responsibility of being online and utilizing this amazing tool to its capacity is something that everyone should take very seriously. There are so many resources at our fingertips, but also it is critical to be safe as well. Our school district is going 1:1 in August and I am very anxious to see how this is going to work, and am very pleased each student will have the opportunity to have their own computer. It would be wonderful if the teachers and parents can work together in modeling and teaching the students to be responsible with their digital citizenship.
